Each year, during our annual New Year’s Day meditation, Spirit provides a message for all those who are in attendance. As we started 2016, the message was about not creating any Resolutions but rather to create a Revolution. The message for 2017 is along the same lines as we continue this Revolution within our lives recognizing that choices are the key for our happiness or dissatisfaction. Here is the message:
2017 New Year’s Day Meditation
Welcome to a new day! Since our last connection, you have lived another 8766 hours of your life on Earth. This time, is simply given to you as a measurement of energy, or rather how you have spent your energy. You often use it as a comparison model of where you were at this same time one year ago. As we gathered in congregation at that time, we talked to you about starting a Revolution in your life; to stand up for what you desired and to leave behind that which you didn’t want. How did you do?
As with any revolution, events around you still occurred and you had the opportunity to choose how you saw them. Did you like it? Did you not like it? Either way, you had the freedom to choose. And for now, the revolution continues. This year brings forth more revolt against what you do not desire and toward what you do desire. Stand up for what you want and desire and draw your attention away from that which you don’t desire.
Many of you use numbers, sun and moon cycles and planetary actions as a guideline for predicting what is, and what is to come. While these cycles have some significance, ultimately, you make the choices for your life and you are to recognize that as the greatest gift that has been given to you. The gift of choice.
And so, this year of 2017 brings for you more choices. As opportunities are presented to you, you take the option that is most aligned with your energy at the time. We remind you that no decision you make is “right” or “wrong” for those are simply human words for contrast. You are simply making a choice within that moment in time. And in another moment, you will make another choice. And so on, and so on, and so on….
We ask that you pay attention to the physical form in which you have been given to live within while in this lifetime. As your soul is perfect, this form has its imperfections. Your body is a required necessity for you while existing on the earth plane and is impacted by the outside environment of the world. It is up to you to allow it to return to its natural state of being, that state in which you came into the world. Through the years, the introduction of artificial life source has dampened your body’s ability to be in natural state. Return to breath. Return to living nourishment. Return to living states of existence. Return to life!
Bring about change in your world during this continuation of your revolution. Reconnect to the people around you in a soul manner, looking at them only through the eyes of love. Release judgment on the world around you and the choices that you, as a collective human race, have made. Be what you desire and all else will fall into place around you. Live. Learn. Grow. Evolve. That is our message for you today.
You, in community, are mightier that you alone. Find your gathering places with those of like mind. Learn together. Evolve together. Recognize what each individual brings to the collective group.
Most of all recognize that you are loved and that you are love.

A message from Archangel Ariel
I ask that you open yourself to receiving our guidance. You have been provided with all that you need in this lifetime. All that you need is here for you. If you need it, you shall have it. As you move forward this year, clear the clutter – physical, emotional, mental – from your life. More cannot be given if there is no room for it. Make the necessary room and you will see that all you desire can come to you. Let go of the things, thoughts, ideas and actions that no longer serve you and more can come to you. Appreciate what has been provided for you and more will be available.

Jophiel asks that you reflect and see the beauty of every situation that has come into your experience this past year. Every challenge, every difficult situation and every positive activity all contained the beautiful lessons of your soul’s evolution. As you see things with a different view, you will better understand the necessity of those events in your life.
Connect with nature. See the beauty of it all. Spend time within it. You are one with the energy of the environment and as such, you are impacted by what is around you within that environment.
There are blessings all around you. Notice them and receive them.
